At Mumager we are passionate about helping mums successfully manage their return to work after Maternity leave. We offer advice on how to juggle babies, bosses and to-do lists while giving you techniques allowing you to banish guilt and keeping everyone happy.
We are 3 associates, all female, who noticed through our own individual work that there was a need to provide some practical advice and support for mums returning to work after maternity leave. In our line of work we meet and talk with a lot of women who are working mums. Recognizing the pressures that many of us are juggling, Mumager was born from the three of us wanting to do something practical to help mums manage that transition back to work. Our aim is to share practical advice and tools that manage that transition – so that everyone – parents, children and bosses benefit. You can ask us questions over at eumom where we are the ‘Back to Work’ experts.
We are all based in Ireland and teamed up last year to create our first Mumager workshop which we held in Dublin in May. Our next workshop is confirmed for the 18th June 2015 at Castleknock Hotel and Country Club.
As a self-employed working mum I’m well versed in juggling conference calls, travel and deadlines with all that goes with having two gorgeous little boys. I help people to be their best at work, rest and play by running focused and interactive workshops on a range of personal development topics. I’m proud to say I can still run in my high-heels though you’ll now find a pair of flats tucked in my bag for the quick changeovers and mad sprints to catch a flight. My aim is to equip working mums with a range of tools that they can apply to their work and home lives to make the return to work easier for everyone.
A career in corporate human resources & training has helped me understand how to manage difficult people and difficult situations. Although I’m not a mum, I have been an agony aunt for many distressed and unhappy employees! I have a common-sense practical approach to things and a passion for seeing people achieve their potential. I know that unbiased common-sense HR advice can be hard to come by so it’s important to me to share my knowledge and support mums returning to work.

I work quietly behind the scenes at Mumager using my background in software engineering and coaching to ensure we reach as many mums as possible over the World Wide Web. As a woman the issue of when is the right time to have kids has been one I have considered for many years. More frequently other mums are telling me, there is no ‘right’ time, you just make it work! We live in an age when it has become expected that women will excel at their careers along with being a wonderful parent. I love being part of a team which provides a framework that supports working mothers in their goal to successfully juggle two very important aspects of their lives.
